Thomas Wood is a Pennsylvania licensed social worker and a proud member of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT). He graduated with academic honors and received a masters in clinical social work and a masters in human sexuality education from Widener University in Pennsylvania.
Thomas works with clients using an individually tailored approach that is specific to each person's strengths and motivations. He blends Narrative, Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focused, Existential, and Rational-Emotive Behavioral Therapies to create meaningful and lasting change.
In addition to his training in clinical treatment of general psychological concerns, Thomas is trained in the treatment of sexual dysfunctions. He specializes in male sexual dysfunction, disability, chronic illness, sexual identity, orientation, and relationship therapy.
Thomas has presented on relationship and sexual topics on both a state and national level and has been recognized for his contributions to the field of sexuality. He has also done extensive work in community sexual health, as well as residential treatment for delinquent and displaced youths in the city of Philadelphia. He is passionate about social justice and respecting the dignity of every individual.
