Wanda
Sevey, MDiv, LMFT is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
She is passionate, both professionally and personally, about
helping individuals, couples and families identify and accomplish
the changes they would like to make in their lives and relationships.
She is committed to helping the clients in her practice explore
and heal from their past and change their present, helping
couples grow in emotional openness and physical closeness
and helping teens and young adults stay connected to their
families while they grow toward self-acceptance and independence.
Through teaching and coaching communication skills, she enjoys
helping couples and families solve problems, fight fairly
and stay connected through the changes in their lives.
Areas of specialization and interest include:

- adult and childhood anxiety/depression;
- anger management;
- trauma recovery;
- sex therapy;
- healing and forgiveness following infidelity;
- life cycle transitions for all ages/stages;
- spiritual issues;

Wanda has an undergraduate degree from Whitworth College
in Spokane, WA, a graduate degree from Princeton Theological
Seminary and completed her postgraduate training in Relationship
and Sex Therapy from Council for Relationships. She is trained
in RE (Relationship Enhancement), PAIRS (Practical Application
of Intimate Relationship Skills), PREP (Prevention and Relationship
Enhancement) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
for healing from trauma and anxiety. She also leads Anger
Management and Sexuality/Intimacy groups.
