Charles Muorah, MTh, STL Dr. Charles Muorah is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. His skills, knowledge, and diverse background make him proficient in individual therapy with young adults, men and women, as well as senior citizens. He also specializes in couple and family therapy. Dr. Muorah's clinical excellence has grown through his work in a variety of areas, including female adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. He has also helped men and women struggling to overcome trauma, anxiety, depression, and abandonment issues from their family of origin or issues resulting from transitions in life and stages of human development. He has successfully worked with clergy, young couples struggling to establish their relationship, older couples desiring to reestablish their emotional and sexual intimacy, couples with communication and anger problems, as well as couples and families in crises related to affairs, divorce, or spirituality questions.

Dr. Muorah comes from a large and blended family, and his personal experience has been very useful in the way he addresses issues of blended family, relationship responsibility, structuring, and emotional boundary setting in both large families and work settings. His theological training, study of philosophy, education, and psychotherapy, in conjunction with his life across cultural experiences, is seen in his ethnicity process, assessment of needs as new situations arise, psycho-spiritual interventions, skillful listening, good use of sense of self as a therapist, and openness to learning where he needs to gain new experience and is valuable in his treatment approach designed to help the client attain totality of well-being.

Dr. Muorah received his postgraduate training in individual, couple, family, psychotherapy and sex therapy at Council for Relationships. He holds the following degrees: Bachelor in Philosophy, Post Graduate Diploma in Education, Masters in Theology, Licentiate in Sacred Theology, and he has successfully defended his Doctorate in Sacred Theology. He is also a Catholic priest, ordained in 1991. Dr. Muorah is an author and presenter on a variety of topics. His impressive presentations include: "Exploring Emotional Needs in Pastoral Counseling", "Changes in Human Life Cycle", and "Establishing Emotion and Sexual Intimacy".
