Dr. Marsh is the Director of the Center City, Wynnewood and
Bryn Mawr Offices of CFR. She is a senior staff therapist
and a teacher of the Sexual Function and Dysfunction I and
II courses in CFR's Training Program. Dr. Marsh is a Licensed
Psychologist, a member of the American Psychological Association,
and has been in private practice for 22 years providing therapy
for individuals, couples and families. Her areas of expertise
include couple and family relationships at various stages
of the life cycle; sexuality issues for individuals and couples;
family therapy with children of all ages, particularly adolescents;
assisting with issues of separation, divorce and remarriage;
and loss and bereavement.
Dr. Marsh earned her Master's Degree in Human Learning and
Development, and then her Doctoral Degree in School and Counseling
Psychology, from the University of Pennsylvania in 1982. She
received extensive clinical training at the Philadelphia Child
Guidance Center, where she was a Staff Psychologist for several
years. Subsequently she held clinical and administrative positions
at the Presbyterian Children's Village for 14 years, concentrating
on working with multi-problem families especially those traumatized
by abuse, addictions and violence.
Dr. Marsh is an experienced trainer and speaker. She frequently
presents to churches and community organizations on issues
such as family relationships, women's issues, the effects
on children and families of technology and of violence, couple
communication, and the enhancement of couples' connections
through intimacy-building strategies.
Dr. Marsh is also an experienced teacher of the PREP Couples
Communication Course and the PAIRS courses.
