PAIRS® Relationship Education Program

The Practical Application of Intimate Relationship Skills (PAIRS) Program offers a range of courses for couples and individuals of all ages who want to learn how to:

  • Assess the current status of their relationship; 
  • Acknowledge and appreciate differences that each partner brings to the relationship; 
  • Resolve conflicts creatively; 
  • Heal wounds from the past and avoid mistakes made in previous relationships; 
  • Understand how family history influences choices and behaviors; 
  • Improve physical and emotional bonding; 
  • Increase commitment.

    PAIRS® Mastery Program

PAIRS® Relationship Road Map Course

The PAIRS® Relationship Road Map Course (PAIRS® First), which runs 8 weeks, is a 30-hour adaptation of the PAIRS® Mastery Program (see below).

PAIRS® Confiding Skills Workshop
This course is a prerequisite for the PAIRS® Mastery Program.

This workshop introduces three key confiding skills that are part of the PAIRS Mastery Program. Confiding is the ability to reveal yourself fully, honestly, and directly with another person. It is the life blood of intimacy. These skills, when used with good will and empathy, can help develop clear, open, and healthy communication. Their use will nourish the bond of all your close, caring relationships.

The skills you will learn are:

  • Daily Temperature Reading
  • Dialogue Guide
  • Emotional Jug

PAIRS® Mastery Program - 16 Weeks

The comprehensive PAIRS® Mastery Program, which runs 16 weeks (one night per week) and four weekends, is structured to provide theory, experiential exercises and opportunities for group and individual sharing. Participants in this program will:

  • Learn the PAIRS Bonding Process;
  • Understand and resolve emotional hurts and traumas;
  • Identify differences based on personality styles;
  • Remove barriers to pleasuring and intimacy;
  • Explore myths and enhancements of lovemaking;
  • Review jealousy and affair prevention;
  • Define healthy autonomy;
  • Negotiate and contract for change.

PAIRS® Mastery Completion Program - 12 Weeks

Prerequisite: PAIRS Road Map or PAIRS Confiding Skills

This is a 12 week course including 3 weekend workshops. Building on core concepts and skills, this course begins with exploration of self and family history. Participants in this program will:

  • Learn the PAIRS Bonding Process;
  • Understand and resolve emotional hurts and traumas;
  • Identify differences based on personality styles;
  • Remove barriers to pleasuring and intimacy;
  • Explore myths and enhancements of lovemaking;
  • Review jealousy and affair prevention;
  • Define healthy autonomy;
  • Negotiate and contract for change.
